We had a great time when Jeremy Strong came to Kettering Arts Centre on Saturday 5th June 2010 at 12.00noon. Jeremy talked about his life and the events and people that had encouraged and inspired him to become a writer. He was very funny and introduced us to his new books Batpants and We want to be on the Telly. Lots of children had the opportunity to ask him questions and to have books signed afterwards.
Jeremy is the best-selling author of such popular children’s fiction series as The Viking in my Bed, Pirate School, and The Hundred Mile an Hour Dog, as well as many individual titles (77 books in total at the last count). Jeremy was a teacher and Headteacher until he began writing full-time in 1991.
