St. Andrew’s Church Art Group Annual Exhibition
Thursday 17th September to Saturday 19th September
Thursday and Friday – 10am to 5pm; Saturday – 10am to 4pm*
This annual event offers the public an opportunity to view the varied art styles that represent the recent works by members of the St. Andrew’s Church Art Group, some of whom will be in attendance to answer any questions. Many of the paintings on display in the exhibition are available to purchase at the time of your visit but will not be available to take home until after the event.
Cheese & Wine Evening
Thursday, 17th September

From 7.30pm onwards
Admission to this now traditional Cheese & Wine evening held in the Church includes canopies and the first glass of wine. The event will feature live music from Kontra Roots promoter Kev Buxton.
‘Sanctuary for a King’ -The Internment of Richard III – with Michael Harrison
Friday, 18th September
Tickets £5
From 7.30pm
An illustrated talk by artist Michael Harrison who was commissioned by Leicester Cathedral to document the internment of the last English king to die in battle (the Battle of Bosworth Field). Michael’s completed artwork was on display in Leicester throughout May. A question and answer session will be held following the presentation.
Drinks and refreshments will be available on the night.
