Doors open 1:30pm – 2pm start

Comedy club favourite Otiz Cannelloni returns to headline this family show, featuring the legendary Rudi Lickwood, our own Nick Wills and Peter Bazely. Together they will be delivering a barrage of laughs to keep people of any age Rolling in the Aisles throughout this afternoon performance.

OTIZ CANNELLONI

Otiz Cannelloni combines the illusion of magic and the wit of stand up to produce a hybrid comic creation. With a mind more suited to testing crash helmets, his performance fluctuates between sheer genius and downright stupidity. Just when you suspect he doesn’t have a clue, Cannelloni removes all doubt.

When this man is on stage the dressing room empties, as the rest of the comics rush to watch and learn from his mistakes. It’s taken years of practice to make something so simple look so difficult.

Despite various television appearances – The Stand Up Show BBC 1 – Stuff The White Rabbit BBC 2 – producers are prepared to forgive and forget, mostly forget. Still, there’s always the allotment – if it stops raining!

Voted most popular act to appear at Ludgershall’s Comedy Club ever.

PETER BAZELY

peter-bazelyStand-up Comedian Peter Bazely is currently alive, unhappy, and living in London.

After placing in the finals of the 2015 Musical Comedy Awards and Golden Jester competition, Peter still isn’t happy. “…His masterful, self-deprecating, and droll tone brought tears of laughter…” (The Church Times)

Peter describes his act as a mix of songs, poems and stand-up comedy, but others simply label it a cry for help. “Distinctive stuff…” (Bruce Dessau – Beyond the Joke)

Peter sites his debut Edinburgh Fringe Show ‘Crying by a Bench’ (2014) as a critical success. The show was part Stand-up comedy and part crying, but importantly (says Peter) it was always by a bench, and therefore a success. Since then people have been laughing at him all up and down the country. From the humble intimate gigs like that one in a shipping container in Deptford, all the way up to the dizzying heights of performing in front of the Queen (cover band) at Hull County Council’s Annual Charity BBQ, he really has done it all.

This year Peter is touring a performance of some of his classic songs (the ones you know and love him for) and also exclusively revealing to his loyal fan some of his more outrageous stories from his time on the road (mostly the M1 and M25).
