James Acaster has announced he is touring the UK with his newest offering, ‘Represent,’ following his run at the Edinburgh Fringe. Represent focuses on James’s time spent during jury service for a murder trial. It is squaring up to be the must-see show of the year.
James has quickly established himself as one of the most distinctive and brilliant young comedians of his generation. He has notched up a plethora of award nominations, including Best Comedy Show at the 2012, 2013 and 2014 Edinburgh Fringe festivals and taking home the Best International Show Award at the 2014 New Zealand International Comedy Festival.
As well as his glowing stand-up career, James has made several television appearances with the likes of Have I Got News For You (BBC One), Mock The Week (BBC), 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Never mind The Buzzcocks (BBC) and Russell Howards Good News (BBC Three), Dave’s One Night Stand (Dave), Chris Addison’s Show and Tell (E4), Live at The Comedy Store (Paramount), Sweat The Small Stuff (BBCThree). Radio appearances also including a regular guest spot on fellow comic Josh Widdicombe’s XFM show and writing and presenting his own show Findings for BBC Radio 4.
