Kettering Arts Centre plays host to the best comedians, as the stars of the Edinburgh Festival, rising stars and the odd BIG name bring their touring shows for your enjoyment.
We have really enjoyed playing host to some great names in comedy over the past 8 years, including Jack Dee, Sean Lock, Romesh Ranganathan, Alex Horne, Josie Long, Boothby Graffoe, Bridget Christie, Milton Jones, Pete Firman, James Acaster, Patrick Monahan, Tiff Stevenson, Jeremy Hardy, Jo Caulfield, Paul Kerensa, Jo Enright, Simon Munnery, Matt Forde, Angela Barnes, Justin Moorhouse, Dominic Holland, Rob Rouse, Rob Newman and many many others.
As well as one off touring shows we also run a monthly comedy club Rolling in the Aisles with a mix of top national club acts and all hosted by our own friendly compere, Nick Wills.
Come to Kettering Arts Centre for quality, affordable comedy and we’ll have you rolling in the aisles!
Please please please can you just add a what’s on diary to your site. I really wanted to get tickets for someone as a gift and support you but I can’t easily see what’s on to see if there is anything they would like.
otherwise great to see a comedy venue in Kettering hope to get along to something soon. Interested to see how some of the comedians material works in a church setting.
Hi Kate,
so sorry not to have replied sooner and that the website has been a bit out of date. I’ve tried to keep the homepage blog up to date and there are listings there. I’m working on full listings and updating things now.
Its been quite a January/Feb for us when we managed to book Jack Dee and we were also launching a membership scheme at the same time. We are a volunteer run non-funded community arts centre trying to bring quality arts to Kettering but I have simply run out of hours in the day to keep everything as up to date as I would have liked.
The facebook group “Kettering Arts Centre at St Andrew’s Church” is a good place to keep in touch or you can email me on willsbecky@googlemail.com with any questions.
I tried to email you a reply a week or two ago but it got sent back to me….
Anyway, the venue works great for comedy and artists seem to enjoy such an unusual and quirky venue.
Hope to see you soon, why not try Simon Munnery on 25th Feb?
all the best,
Becky
