THE JIGANTICS
A fabulous musical stew combining the finest roots ingredients – blues, rock, folk and Americana – this brilliant new band brings tremendous musicianship to their many different styles. With something for everyone, delivered with panache and fun, this is a fantastic, highly entertaining, rave-reviewed band who are wowing audiences up and down the land.
THE BAND
Rick Edwards
Guitars, Vocals.
Great guitar player who’s slide and acoustic playing is renowned on the Blues circuit and which has enabled him to perform and record in Mississippi with some of the all time greats including Pinetop Perkins, Muddy Waters piano player. Ricks first gig was in a folk club, so what goes around ………
Graham Mizen
Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Mandolin, Bass Guitar and a few surprises
Graham comes from a family well known for their singing and performing, which they continue to enjoy to this day. It was clear from a very early age that he had a natural ability for finding that elusive harmony and, along with his all round musical ability, has enabled him to work extensively in a variety of musical genres. The Jigs are delighted that Graham is now part of the band, and his inclusion has opened up another musical avenue for us all to enjoy.
Lyndon Webb
Bass Guitar, Vocals, Guitar and more!
Lyndon is a multi-talented musician, equally at home on guitar and mandolin as he is on bass. Outside of the Jigs he plays in a number of bands spanning several genres and is also an accomplished sound engineer. Needless to say he brings a wealth of experience and skill to the Jigantics – and he smiles a lot too 🙂
Mark Cole
Vocals, Mandolin, Squeezeboxes, Harmonica et al
Mark is an irrepressible front man who seemingly is able to pick up almost any instrument and get an exciting noise out of it. A top vocalist and in demand international session player.
Martin Fitzgibbon
Drums, Percussion, Vocals
Marty has performed with and in front of, some of the biggest names in the world of popular music, Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Lou Reed et al but says the Jigantics are the most exciting project he’s ever been involved with.

Supporting Act:
MARINA FLORANCE
An award-winning, exceptional singer-songwriter with a voice like chocolate whose fantastic and compelling narrative songs are completely fresh and original. A wonderful talent.
Awards: Marina came to performing late in life, however, very soon after making the decision to “come out of the kitchen” to widen her audience she was awarded Arts Council funding, via the Escalator Project, to record a debut album, Somewhere Down The Line, using this as a platform she has since reached audiences never previously thought possible.
The self penned song Cry won the Oldies Composers Competition, judged by BBC Radio 2 presenters including Ken Bruce, Bob Harris, Johnny Walker and the late Sir Terry Wogan, resulting in Anthony Head singing the song live on ITVs This Morning, and gaining airplay on numerous radio stations including the BBC.
Marina was nominated on Soundcloud as Soundclouder of the day with the song The Guilty One and also added to their International Women’s Day playlist, this has resulted in thousands of plays all over the world.
