Dear guests, please be aware of a lineup change affecting both events on Saturday 18th February 2017
*Rolling in the Aisles Family Special 2pm Start – Andrew O’Neill replaces Rudi Lickwood!
*Rolling in the Aisles Comedy Club Night with Andrew O’Neill replacing our headline act Rudi Lickwood. 8pm Start
Who is Andrew O’Neill you may ask? Well read below and you’ll be pleasantly surprised:
Andrew O’Neill isn’t your usual stand-up comedian. Yes, he tells jokes. Yes, he makes you laugh. But he does it all with an innate sense of absurdism and silliness, and proudly displays one of the most inventive comic minds around today. Why tell a joke when you can sing it? Why not tell the masses about the celebrities who live in London’s sewer system? Why not pepper your performance with increasingly funny and bizarre non-sequiteurs?
Highly inventive and extremely funny, Andrew has risen like warm air in a comparatively cold room ever since his debut in 2002. He’s done primetime comedy with Steve Coogan, dabbled in reality TV, and had dozens of sketches broadcast on Radio 1.
He’s been on telly a bit, (including Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and Saxondale with Steve Coogan) and lots of radio (including BBC Radio 1, Radio 4, Radio 4 Extra, and 5live) but live is where the hidden mind-control signals planted in my work are most effective.
One of the funniest comedians on the circuit at the moment… hitting new heights of comedic brilliance.
He’s got a natural optimism and love of silliness that leaves you feeling remarkably positive… a winning blend of polemic and off-beat whimsy.
One of the most entertaining, interesting and multilayered acts we’ve seen. Don’t miss a trick – go and see him now.
So funny I put him in my new TV show.
Talented, intelligent and unique. Bringing the spirit of the alternative 80s back into the comedy circuit.
