This Autumn he will be serving up a programme featuring Craig Murray, Duncan Oakley and John Gordillo respectively as the headline acts, each supported by two more first rate comedians compered by our very own Nick Wills. Never short of an audience James Acaster is bringing Reset, his 2016 Tour, to Kettering Arts Centre on Saturday, November 19. His gigs have earned him The Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Show Nominee for 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 and few would be surprised if his 2016 show did not achieve similar recognition. He enjoyed playing with Fairport Convention here last year somuch that Dave Pegg, the group’s longest-serving member, is pleased to be returning to KAC as a duo act with probably one of the top songwriters on the acoustic/folk scene, Anthony J Clark. You will be able to browse (and buy) from more than 20 charity and community group stalls. These will include Crazy Hats, Kettering Community Unit, NSPCC, Cransley Hospice, Kettering MS Society, Accommodation Concern, Save the Children, Parkinson’s, Andi Bull Cancer Charity, Kettering Mind and A.Y.M.E. and many more. In 2014, the tenth series of Jeremy Hardy Speaks to the Nation was broadcast on Radio 4. He is also well known for his appearances on The News Quiz and I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue.
