We are very sorry to inform those who haven’t managed to get tickets for this one-off gig that all 250 tickets are sold out.

We hope that we will continue to get great artists in the future and so hope that you will continue to support us. Memberships are still being accepted for those who want priority for future events, vouchers and the chance to find out first who we are booking. (Those members who missed out this time will get first chance next time we have a popular event)

We hope you are as excited as we were when we learnt that everyone’s favourite sharp-suited, grumpy comedian Jack Dee wants to come to Kettering Arts Centre!
Jack is known as the host of Live at the Apollo, the first ever celebrity Big Brother winner, Shooting Star’s taciturn team captain, star of his own sit-com “Lead Balloon”, not to mention the John Smith’s penguin ads… he is a comedy institution and we are thrilled that he has chosen us as one of his smaller venues as warm-ups for his big tour.

Tickets are available to members of the Friends of Kettering Arts Centre only, until 29^th January, then on general sale.

From today we are offering to anyone who supports our vision and enjoys our events the chance to join our Friends of Kettering Arts Centre Membership scheme. You can get more information and an application form by emailing revnickwills@googlemail.com or willsbecky@googlemail.com or you can print off the form below.

If you decide to join you will receive a pack with vouchers for our bar and you will get priority information and first chance to book tickets for popular events. We will be able to keep in touch and keep you up to date throughout 2012. The scheme costs £4 per person or £6 per couple. We look forward to hearing from you.

After a busy, fun & successful festive season at Kettering Arts Centre we are ready to launch into 2012 with some great events.

First up on 28th January is our family favourite Tropical Inc when you will be able to meet all sorts of amazing creatures, learn some incredible facts and be thoroughly entertained by our human host and their furry, feathery, scaley, cute, scary, fascinating friends!

Tickets are just £4 (or £3 if you buy 4 or more) and there are two showings at 10am and 2.30pm

And there’s lots more to come in 2012 including great comedy, wonderful music, vibrant theatre and much more…

A late addition to our busy December schedules is an exciting new link with local community theatre and education initiative deLiberateARTS

DeLiberate will be showcasing three powerful, hard-hitting and gritty performances on December 20th at 7.00pm and we are thrilled that they will be using our performance space.

So, next week is going to be a busy one at Kettering Arts Centre! Beginning on Saturday 17th with the GUS band, Tuesday 20th deLiberate ARTS and Friday 23rd Comedians and Carols, (which is selling fast – so if you haven’t got your tickets get them quickly!)

Countdown to great Christmas Events at Kettering Arts Centre

After a couple of really lovely events in November we are now gearing up to our festive fare…

First up is our Community Christmas Fair on Thursday 1st (6pm-9pm) and Saturday 3rd December (10am -2pm), with free admission to our transformed venue, full of fairy lights, bunting and the buzz of over 20 charities and community groups holding stalls, plus live music, refreshments and of course a very special visitor, in red!

And then on 17th December, its the return of the hugely popular Virtuosi GUS Band who present their show “A Christmas Fantasy” – a seasonal extravaganza guaranteed to get you in the mood for Christmas. The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £9 & £11 (only available from Tourist Information (01536 315115 or St Andrew’s 01536 513858).

And then, with only just over a day until the big day itself, on Friday 23rd December, relax and have a laugh with our Comedians and Carols night. An evening of laughs and variety, with a mixed bill of stand-ups, a magician, a musician, a poet - and of course carols! Tickets are £8 (adults) £5 (concessions) and the show starts at 7.30pm. The show is suitable for aged 9+. So bring along a group of family, friends or workmates and have some festive fun!

Exciting weekend coming up at Kettering Arts Centre

Hugely successful comic, Jo Caulfield is coming on Saturday, as seen in the Evening Telegraph this week. As she explained in her article, she loves to play to live audiences, interact and find out about about a local area and she’s looking forward to coming to Kettering. It will be a night full of great laughs with a fantastic intimate atmosphere. There are still tickets available from our usual vendors or on the door.

Unfortunately we have had a problem with our drinks licence and so we cannot sell alcohol on Saturday – but please feel free to bring your own. There’s always Sainsbury’s opposite… Apologies.

Before that we have the exclusive CD launch party for Stevie Jones & Mark Gill TOMORROW night from 9.15pm. Bring your own drinks for this one too. (what a great weekend’s entertainment and you can get your drinks in very cheaply too!)

Advance notice for our December comedy event, Comedians and Carols on 23rd December. The line-up has been announced:

We had a packed house to see the comedy legend Jeremy Hardy bringing his unique brand of droll and self-deprecating humour to our stage on Saturday night.

He entertained, with a mix of political & observational humour and it was a pleasure to be part of his national tour schedule.
